The opioid crisis continues to impact communities across Texas. Illicit fentanyl and other synthetic drugs remain widely available and are causing injury, overdose, and loss of life among Texas youth. Texas Opioid Prevention for Students (TOPS) is a Texas A&M Health initiative funded by the Texas Comptroller’s Opioid Abatement Fund Council.
The program brings together lessons, community activities, mental health support, and evaluation to improve youth prevention efforts across the state.
